Sign up with your phone number or email. A 6-digit OTP code is sent to verify your contact — no passwords to remember. Provide your name in Latin characters as it appears on your bank card.

Common questions

Is my face data stored on BioPay's servers?

Your face is processed into a mathematical embedding (a vector of numbers) entirely on your device. Only the encrypted embedding is sent to our servers — never the raw image or video. Even our team cannot reconstruct your face from stored data.

What stops someone from using a photo of me to pay?

Our 3D liveness detection powered by ArcFace distinguishes a real, live face from a flat image, video, or deepfake. It analyses micro-movements, depth cues, and texture in real time. Spoofing attempts fail at the liveness check before any payment is authorised.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Sign in on any device and go to Settings → Trusted Devices. From there you can remotely revoke the lost device with one tap, or sign out from all devices simultaneously. Your face enrollment and cards are tied to your account, not the device.

Can I delete my biometric data?

Yes, at any time. Go to Face Pay → Delete Enrollment. This permanently removes your encrypted embedding from our servers. You can re-enroll at any time without needing a new account.

Which banks and cards are supported?

BioPay currently has deep integrations with Bank of Georgia (BOG) and TBC Bank, with automatic card detection for Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Support for additional Georgian and international banks is in active development.

Does BioPay work if I change my appearance?

Minor changes — haircuts, glasses, light makeup — are handled gracefully by the model. Significant changes (beard growth, major weight change, surgery) may reduce accuracy. In that case, simply re-enroll from the Face Pay screen to update your profile.

Is BioPay free to use?

The BioPay app is free to download and use. There are no subscription fees for users. Standard card transaction fees charged by your bank still apply.
